Where To Listen to This Episode: The inside of any Metro car.

Go to a Metro station. Purchase a fare card if you don’t already have one. Wait for a train. It can be going anywhere, but you must be prepared to stay on it for as long as it takes. And you must take all possible action to stay within the boundaries of the District. It will be safer that way. If you leave the boundaries, we cannot guarantee your safety. We cannot guarantee it anyway. No one can. That’s the first secret you’ll learn. That there is no safe place. You know that. You know that very well. You’ve just seen something awful. An accident. Maybe an accident. You’re not thinking right. You just know you need to get away. You need to get on a train. Pause the recording and when you find your seat on the train--if you’re lucky enough to find a seat-- begin again and wait. He’ll find you there. He’s been waiting for you.
